KBC provides opportunities for spiritual growth through serving by organizing yearly regional and global mission trips and by supporting individuals and families who embark upon short or long term missions. KBC also supports various missions and ministries within Canada and around the world through Canadian Baptist Ministries (CBM) and Foundation For His Ministry .
In 2008 KBC joined a program called S.T.E.P. (Serving, Training, Energizing Partnerships) through Canadian Baptist Ministries to connect and partner with a congregation in Africa. We sent our first team to Kenya in August 2009. The team’s main projects were to help build a water cistern and a fence around some church property to help prevent looting and vandalism. A second team is headed to Kenya in July 2010 where they will help complete the church building.
