Priority Statement #1 has the following goal:

Foster a missional church that serves internal, local and global needs in order to encourage others to join, participate, learn and possibly lead.

The Open Table has completed its first year of operation as part of Revision Team #1 mandate. Four hot meal events were held this past year along with a Community BBQ held in June. These events served a total of about 250 people who enjoyed Turkey and Roast Beef dinners as well as a great BBQ outside on the north side of the building. These events were well received and appreciated by all who attended. Our principle community outreach is aimed at residences from Stonewick Heights and the clients from the Kanata Food Cupboard.

Create a newsletter with mission oriented classifieds to communicate mission activities, accomplishments, needs and available mentorship as well as capture congregational and community needs
Approach Kanata churches to see what they’re doing and how KBC might cooperate.
