Hello and welcome to Kanata Baptist church.
For two thousand years this message has called people away from vain and selfish earthly priorities to a new life of forgiveness, fr
eedom and humble service under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. From this humble starting point of faith God calls us to die to the world and come to life through the indwelling Spirit of Christ. These are the principles and priorities which draw us together as a community of believers at Kanata Baptist church;salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and daily living under His lordship. We believe that the Bible speaks to us today just as it has to generations down through the years and its relevance and authority have not diminished even though our world has changed dramatically.
I would like to invite you to join us in this great adventure. Not to a mindless obedience to a dusty set of rules and regulations or to a luddism which criticizes others from the vantage point of self-righteous piety but rather, to a living, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Our congregation is gathered from all walks of life and backgrounds those who are united by this journey of faith. We want to know Jesus and discover each day how our lives can be transformed through God’s Spirit to make a difference that lasts for all eternity.
